How do you manage an e-commerce product database with over 25,000 products that each require a thumbnail and full-size picture, updated on a monthly basis when you receive the photos in print-ready, 300 dpi, full-scale format? You call us.

When Monicatti Chrysler planned their e-commerce website, they solicited our expertise to develop an application to automate photo management for the site's 25,000+ products. Prior to our solution, photo resizing and downsampling were performed using Photoshop at a time cost of two minutes per photo. Our solution cut the process two three clicks and less than 5 seconds per photo. Here's what our custom solution does for Monicatti Chrysler:

• Analyzes a folder containing one to thousands of folders to verify validity of all files
• Creates a low-resolution thumbnail of each photo
• Creates a 72 dpi full-size version of each photo
• Matches each photo to the corresponding product in the e-commerce database
• Uploads the thumbnail and full-size version to the e-commerce store
