InetSolutoin, Inc. Helps Grand Blanc Credit Union Launch Enhanced Website
UTICA, MI, January 28, 2002 – Grand Blanc Credit Union (www.grandblanccu.com), one of Michigan’s oldest credit unions, selected InetSolution, Inc., a leading Internet technology provider based in Utica, Mich., for development of its enhanced Web site and online services system. The upgraded site includes a completely new site architecture and added functionality.
InetSolution initiated the project by reinventing the site’s architecture, making navigation easier and providing room for more extensive content regarding products, services, rates, loan calculators, and various product applications. Jason Sherrill, InetSolution president explains, “our role in e-Branch development is to advocate a more intuitive user experience. Using a number of architecture and programming techniques, we build a site that is truly interactive, anticipating nearly every question or financial need a member could have.” Grand Blanc CU’s new site creates another outlet for the organization to serve its members. The home banking service, Grand Blanc Connect, did not change.
To protect their members’ data, Grand Blanc CU also enlisted InetSolution to install its multi-level security software, CU MemberProtect®. MemberProtect® is designed to serve the special data protection requirements of credit union online services. Among some of the system’s capabilities to assist credit unions in their online security efforts are high-powered encryption, member profiling, complete transaction logging, and single logon access to all on-line services.
Grand Blanc CU employees are empowered to update the Web site’s content on a daily, or even hourly basis if needed. Interest rates, news, events, new product offerings and special member notices can be added to the site using InetSolution’s content management software, InetActive™. Grand Blanc CU management worked with InetSolution to rebuild their site’s architecture so it will be ready for new features and services at any time.
