InetSolution, Inc. Gives Banks and Credit Unions the Power to Boost Use of On-line Services

UTICA, MI, February 01, 2002 – Web users now demand fast and easy navigation, particularly in the financial services industry, where institutions must save time and frustration for their online customers. Banks and credit unions are now joining other online businesses in efforts to reduce the number of "clicks" necessary to complete a transaction.

InetSolution, Inc., an advanced Internet technology development company specializing in technical solutions for credit unions, recently released an enhanced version of its data security system, CU MemberProtect®, which will now allow single login access to all of a credit union's online services and applications. The gaps between a credit union's in-house and third party providers' systems can now be bridged, allowing members to reap the benefits of fewer forms and logins, making for faster navigation. CU MemberProtect® was originally designed to protect credit union member data and to aid in member profiling.

Research shows that the most popular Web sites require the fewest clicks to reach an objective. Credit unions whose Web sites require multiple logins or registrations before continuing through the site may be losing online members. Single login capabilities are the newest wave of simplifying and speeding up Web site navigation and thus improving member satisfaction.

Without authentication software such as CU MemberProtect®, credit union members can be required to complete as many as five or six separate logins within the same Web site, depending on what they are attempting to accomplish. For example, a member could be asked to login and enter a password to view checking account transactions, yet another login for bill payments, another for a loan application, and another for investment inquiries, etc.
