Catherine Bukosera

Sponsored Through Compassion International

We're fortunate to live in a country where we have abundant opportunities for education, recreation, jobs, healthcare and numerous other privileges that make life enjoyable. We're also fortunate to be able to afford to help provide opportunities to people who do not enjoy the luxuries many of us do.

Since 2005, through Compassion International, we have sponsored Catherine Bukosera, a young Ugandan girl who is learning skills to improve living conditions for her family and community. A quick glimpse at history reminds us that one person can — and often does — make a difference in the life of another. We believe that Catherine will grow to be someone that will make a significant difference in the lives of the people in her community and country.

A unique aspect of the Compassion Program is that we can exchange letters with Catherine, and also send small non-monetary gifts, such as books, stickers or other items that their mail system can handle. We encourage you to learn more about the Compassion program, and perhaps you'll find a child that you'd like to help.
