Paying for better customer experience

84% of customers would be prepared to pay 5% over the standard rate for a superior customer experience, 62% would pay 10% more, 25% would pay 15% more and 11% would pay 25% more.
I came across that quote while reading an article last week. I don't think that's too far off from the truth and brings back to mind the idea that you get what you pay for. Bargain prices beget bargain quality and service. Service takes time, compassion and thinking.
